    The Shadow Grove Empty
PostSubject: The Shadow Grove   The Shadow Grove Icon_minitimeSun May 29, 2016 8:39 pm

Lord Zevrion Greywolf stood on the boarder of his land and the infamous Shadow Grove.. It was a large Grove of old Whitewood trees forever covered with a thick layer of fog. A fog that hide many dangers from view.. some even believed the fog it self held hallucinogenic properties that made people see things, or it was the blood magic of the natives at work.. Others opted to say it was just the imaginations going wild in the Fog. But reguardless what legend says.. this Grove was still deadly to those unprepared. And he was leading his men into it... His Wife's family needed their protection and the only way to get there in a reasonable amount of time was to take the road through the deadly grove.

Zevrion looked back at his men, they were all good warriors, trained well and loyal to what they had to do.

"Warriors of Whitewood, we have all heard the legends of Shadow Grove, Some of you have seen them first hand, My advice and words to you are these.. Keep your wits about you and work together.." he said before starting to move forward on his horse.

Aurora was beside her Lady Anna for the journey, to ensure her safety. She chuckled after Zevrions little speech and shook her head amused "He does love his speeches doesn't he?" she said with a chuckle on her lips as they started moving forward into the Grove.

As soon they entered Aurora could feel it, the temperature dropped and everything felt damp.. it was also noticeably darker even though only moments had past since they were in morning sunlight.. "No wonder they call it the Shadow Grove" she said in a low voice. Looking ahead the fog was so thick she could barely make out two horse lengths a head of them until men on the outer edges of their convoy lit torches to see better with.. and to ward off some of the ghosts and shadows in there vision.
